3D DESIGN - MAKING
*Try turning your smartphone sideways to 'landscape' position,
inorder to read text more clearly and comfortably...
I trained at WSCAD Farnham,
completing a BA hons degree in 3D Design in 1975;
main studies Ceramics and Furniture
Qualifying as an art and design teacher,
I taught ceramics in state schools for 27 years
*see The Magic of Making slideshow in the Art Room
In 2007 I was commissioned to design and make the Chef's
Table at the L'Ortolan and Cheese Trolley for La Becasse,
both Michelin Star restaurants
Retiring from teaching and working freelance ever since,
I have developed my lighting designs and more recently
Hand-published Picture-books
I have rennovated and redesigned the 200 year old town
cottage where I live in Louth, Lincolnshire; it is my
home, studio and gallery.
I am currently working on pedestrian vehicles,
including a shopping kart, luggage kart and childrens' box kart,
to encourage and facilitate getting about by foot - see below
After restoring a 1948 Nimbus motorbike from Denmark, it
featured on BBC's Antique Detectives and now resides in
the Rimini Motorcycle Museum...
